I’m a freelance translator, working from English, Chinese and Greek into Italian, as well as a full-time believer that words should sound like people, not machines. Since 2020, I have been helping brands, agencies, game studios and tech companies worldwide reach their Italian audiences with translations and localizations that feel natural, accurate and culturally engaging. I translate from English, Chinese (Simplified) and Greek into Italian (Italy). Even though I’ve studied several other languages, these are the ones I work with professionally. If your project involves other language combinations, I’ll be glad to point you toward trusted colleagues and resources.

I work on a wide range of translation and localization projects, from technical and marketing texts to software, apps and video games. You’ll find more details on each Service page, but if your project doesn’t quite fit into one of those categories, just send me a message and I’ll let you know how I can help.

My main areas of expertise are listed on my homepage and detailed on the Expertise page, where you can explore each industry I focus on. Some fields overlap, so I also handle related projects when my knowledge applies. If your industry isn’t listed, feel free to reach out and we can discuss whether I’m a good fit for your project.

Beyond my professional training, I follow a careful workflow that includes both review and quality assurance. I revise my own translations to check for typos, omissions or inconsistencies, and I also use QA tools to fine-tune the details. If anything slips through, I’m happy to offer a free round of corrections. And if your project requires a second set of eyes (a separate proofreader, as is common in some workflows), I can arrange that too.

On average, I translate around 2,500 words per day, so a standard project usually takes 1–2 days. That said, timing always depends on the content: length, complexity, format and terminology can all play a role. Share the details with me and I’ll provide a clear delivery schedule tailored to your project.

Translation is usually charged per word (with discounts for repetitions and technical matches when using CAT tools). Other services such as post-editing, proofreading and testing are charged per hour. For marketing or creative content where value goes beyond word count, I may suggest a per-project rate, always agreed with you upfront in a clear quote before we begin.

Yes, I use CAT tools (Computer-Assisted Translation software), which help ensure consistency and quality by using translation memories and termbases. As for machine translation or AI tools, that’s entirely up to you as I only use them if the client agrees. If you’d rather your content not go through these systems, I’ll simply work without them.
